CHVH has purchased a state of the art Ultrasound Equipment to help in our diagnostic protocols. The ultrasound complements our radiology equipment since it allows us to see the internal structures of organs rather than its shadows.

Ultrasonographic studies may be used in a variety of diagnostic procedures such as internal organs and heart evaluations, pregnancy checks, detection of masses, etc.

In order to provide effective, yet affordable, ultrasonography to our clients both doctors will be taking a variety of ultrasonography courses in 2003.

Our "Combo" Vaccines include Chlamydia & Leukemia for Cats and Coronavirus for Dogs (charged separate at other vaccine clinics at an additional $10 to $15 each).

ACUPUNCTURE SERVICES BY DR. BETTY

This ancient form of Chinese medicine is available for pain management and other affections in pets. By inserting very fine needles into specific points on lines called Meridians, blockages of energy flow (QI) are alleviated. This form of therapy may be used alone or in conjunction with regular treatments and is especially helpful in chronic pain situations such as arthritis.

Herbal therapy may be used in conjunction with acupuncture especially to increase energy levels in our aging patients. Any questions regarding the above methods of therapy may be addressed directly to Dr. Betty herself.
